Toilet Spud (for standard 1.5" vacuum breaker flush tube)

This spud makes the connection between the metal flushometer tube and the porcelain fixture. The cone shaped base on the brass spreads the gasket when the nut is tightened. The gasket expands against the porcelain and makes a watertight seal. Spud wrench #100097 is required for installation.

Q: This universal spud will not drop directly into the opening on the base of the toilet. The old one does but it is dented and and worn. Also it will come out of the hole as I tighten it. The new one does match the size of the old one.

A: Toilets typically will have the same spud size of 1 1/2", if you are trying to install this piece on a urinal the spud size will be different. If this is the correct size and you are having trouble installing it make sure that you are utilizing a spud wrench to get the the part in place.
