We have 110 of these in a unit. We have replaced them with the brass body style. .Lifetime of the plastic body of this valve is 10 yrs. We have 2000 brass body valve in use now with a failure rate of less than 1% in the 28 yrs. cost diffence is high but worth the money for brass. dont be confused by the discription Brass/Plastic the body is Plastic .Sorry Acorn love your products but not this one.
