T&S Brass recently announced that they have hired Pat Cotter to be General Manager of their facility in Shanghai, China. Mr. Cotter has long worked in international business with an extensive history of industrial development and executive leadership. He has operated out of several different countries over the years including, China, South America, Mexico, and India.
Most of Cotter’s stellar career has been spent working with Worthington Industries. The steel processor, and metal products manufacturing company boasts 66 facilities in 10 countries around the globe. For the most recent 3 years, Cotter worked as General Manager for their Sino- American Joint Venture located in the beautiful Xiantao, Hubei, China. He spent 7 years prior to this as vice president of Asian Development and was General Manager of Worthington Industries’ Steel Pac Systems division before that.
T&S Brass CEO Claude Theisen reported that the company is extremely pleased with the chance to work with Pat. Cotter is proficient in Mandarin Chinese and understands Chinese culture. Factoring in his vast knowledge of management and manufacturing, the company expects to be able to penetrate deep into the Chinese market. Hopes are high looking forward into the next several years.
